This notice covers California residents and explains how First Plus Group handles personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. It supplements the Privacy Policy and was last reviewed in October 2026.
Where Sharing Actually Happens
First Plus Group is a referral service, not a lender. The single moment personal information leaves this site is your submission of a loan request: the request details then go to independent participating lenders so they can present offers. California law treats a disclosure of personal information to a third party for that party’s own commercial purpose as a potential “sale” or “sharing,” even where no money changes hands for the data itself. Two boundaries hold: browsing this site shares nothing (no advertising trackers, no browsing-data sales), and you can stop the request-driven sharing at any time through the opt-out described below.
What We Collect, and Where It Goes
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Recipients |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | name, email, phone, mailing address, IP address | submitting, routing, confirming your request | participating lenders; service providers |
| Loan request details | requested amount, income range, pay frequency, employment type | matching you with state-licensed options | participating lenders |
| Commercial information | offers viewed or accepted | record keeping, service quality | participating lenders |
| Internet activity | pages visited, referring page, device type | analytics and security | hosting and analytics providers |
| Coarse location | state-level region from IP | routing you to the correct state rules | participating lenders |
Sensitive personal information, Social Security numbers or financial account credentials among it, is not collected on this site. Lenders gather whatever else they require on their own applications, under their own notices.
Who the Third Parties Are
- Participating lenders, independent financial service providers that review requests and set every rate, term, and approval.
- Service providers hosting the site, delivering email, and processing form traffic under contracts limiting them to that work.
- Authorities, when the law compels disclosure.
Your Rights in California
- To know what is collected, used, and disclosed, and to receive a portable copy.
- To delete personal information, within legal exceptions.
- To correct inaccurate personal information.
- To opt out of sale or sharing of personal information.
- To limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- To be free from discrimination for exercising any of the above: prices and service never change because you exercised a right.
Using These Rights
Email [email protected] with the subject “California Privacy Request,” including your name, the email used in any request, the right you are exercising, and enough detail to find your records. Verification matches your message against information on file, possibly with one follow-up confirmation; authorized agents may write on your behalf with your signed permission. Expect a response within 45 days, extendable once by another 45 days where the law allows.
Stopping the Sharing
Write to [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” Two honest notes follow. The referral works only by passing your request to lenders, so opting out means we cannot route a new request for you. And the surest way to prevent sharing is simply not to submit a request form: reading pages here shares nothing, because the site runs no advertising trackers and sells no browsing data. The mechanics of the opt-out are also described on the dedicated Do Not Sell page.
How Long Records Stay
Request-related records are kept only while needed to process the request, meet legal and audit obligations, and resolve disputes, then deleted. Analytics survive in aggregate form only.
